Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision is a career long practice of regularly setting time aside with a qualified, experienced and trusted Supervisor to constructively reflect on and critique a Supervisees professional practice.
Clinical Supervision creates a space to nourish, sustain and revitalise both the practitioner’s wellbeing and their professional practice. In this space Clinical Supervision offers a supportive environment in which to explore possibilities while evolving safe, competent professional practice.
The Supervisor has a privileged opportunity to facilitate a confidential space where Supervisees challenge themselves to flourish in creative and credible clinical and non-clinical ways to further develop both professionally and personally.
Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling and Psychotherapy are forms of ‘talk therapy’ offered by professionally quailified, credentialed and competent therapists providing confidential, supportive spaces in which to talk about concerns, issues or quandaries.
Counselling and Psychotherapy can be useful when seeking to make changes related to current concerns of personal or professional nature or when seeking greater self-awareness through reflection, exploration and understanding of evolving behaviours and life patterns. It may be brief with a limited number of sessions or more long term.
There are many types of Counselling and Psychotherapy many of which have been substantially researched confirming evidence of the benefits of such therapy in areas such as:
- Addiction
- Anxiety & Depression
- Grief & Loss
- Mental Health
- Relationships
- Trauma
A key factor in seeking Counselling or Psychotherapy is finding a reputable, appropriately qualified Counsellor or Psychotherapist with whom the person can work. A doctor may help with suggestions or, where necessary, referrals.
Professional Development
Workshops and presentations can be delivered, developed or adapted according to individual or organisations needs such as:
- Introduction to Clinical Supervision
- Demystification of Clinical Supervision
- Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Conflict Resolution
- Dealing with Difficult Behaviours
- Mindfulness Meditation
- Mental Health
- Physical Health
